Killer Mike Invites Activist Jane Elliott To Run The Jewels Show

Activist Jane Elliott was personally invited to a Run The Jewels show in South Dakota by Killer Mike and it’s truly beautiful. Posting a picture with her on Instagram, Mike called Elliott a “friend and teacher” and also says, “You have sacrificed so much. Thank U for all your work and thank u for Coming out to our Show. I am humbled and honored to host u.” Jane Elliott is an 83-year-old activist who created the “Blue Eyes/Brown Eyes” experiment. The experiment was created after Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated and was made to show students how discrimination felt personally. Check out the picture Mike posted with Elliott below:

T.I Pens Open Letter to President-Elect Donald Trump

T.I has written a moving and eye-opening letter to President-Elect, Donald J. Trump, one week before the inauguration this upcoming Friday. With many in fear of their healthcare, their future, their reproductive rights, and so much more, Tip has written a piece we could all possibly relate to, hopefully, in one way or another. Released on Rolling Stone, he’s opened up his true feelings, thoughts, and questions to the President-Elect. He starts off saying, “As I share my thoughts, I want to first say that it’s easy to allow one’s frustration and angst to lead to reckless and harmful rhetoric that can cause irreparable damage. With that said, I want to be responsible, honest and respectful, but in no way apologetic about the rage and resentment that many of US have been suppressing for far too long.” If you want to read more of the brilliant and eloquent letter, you can read it in full here.
