Fat Joe Ends Beef With Jay Z, Signs With Roc Nation

With their previous work together on the hit single, All The Way Up, Jay Z and Fat Joe have just come together and added Joe under the roster of Roc Nation artists! His upcoming album Plata O Plomo with Remy Ma will be the first album he releases under Roc. Joe and Remy are also nominated for two Grammy’s for their All The Way Up single! 2017 is looking like a great year for Joe so far! With an album coming out February 10, two grammy nominations, and now a management deal with Roc Nation, this year is turning out to be pretty lit for him. In an interview with AllHipHop, Joe says, “I’ve always been a big fan of Jay Z and an admirer of his music and what he’s done as a businessman, it was always on my bucket list to work with him.”

Remy Ma and Fat Joe Joint Album ‘Plata O Plomo’ Set to Release Early 2017

With their hit single All The Way Up being released earlier this year, the Terror Squad duo is set to have an album coming January 9, 2017, to kick off the new year! The album Plata O Plomo, translating to ‘money or bullets’, is set to be “a solid, real rap project” according to Remy. On working with Fat Joe, Remy tells Billboard, “When my brother [Fat Joe] and I get in the studio, something magical happens. I think the people are going to be really, really happy with this album.” We wish the best of luck to these two for when the album drops and can’t wait to cop this album for ourselves!

Fat Joe Attends Grand Opening Of His New Sneaker Store In Harlem

As an enthusiastic sneaker owner and devotee, Fat Joe, or Joseph Cartagena, has finally launched his new sneaker shop in Harlem, New York. He has teamed up with 19-year-old Scotty Spina and has named the store UPNYC in reference to his award winning single “All The Way Up”. Spina speaks on Cartagena saying, “Fat Joe is my big brother, he supports everything I do and even gave me a Terror Squad chain.” Joe has called the sneaker shop “the Guggenheim museum of sneakers” and also says in an interview, “You gotta understand most of us grew up in poverty with a dream and all the stripes against us. The fact we’re able to make music, make money, have fans, and make our dreams come true – we really gotta appreciate that” Well we praise that statement Joe! Even some of Fat Joe’s friends stopped by to chat and kick it with the rapper. Even former rival 50 Cent stopped by along with DJ EFN, Smoke DZA, Remy Ma and more. Joe posts on Instagram a video of 50 Cent rolling up to the store and taking a video with the fans outside.

Remy Ma “They Don’t Love Me No More” (Remix)

Remy Ma Talks Prison Release

Remy Ma has a few more days until she is released from prison.

The Bronx, New York MC was sentenced to eight years in prison back in 2008 after she wasfound guilty on two charges of assault for the shooting of another woman. Well after serving just over six years, Remy is due to be released on July 31 and on Monday (July 21) she called into new Power 105 host Angie Martinez and she couldn’t sound happier.

During the 14-minute phone conversation Remy, laughed and told jokes, speaking on everything from all the raps she’s written while locked up to her relationship with Nicki Minaj. “Nick has always been a supporter and vice versa,” she said. “I like what she does. She’s done wonderful things for females, but I just wish there was more of them. I don’t know what they’re doing; they’re letting these guys take over.”
