Malik ‘Phife Dawg’ Taylor Way

Malik ‘Phife Dawg’ Taylor was honored in Queens, New York last Saturday by getting a street sign with his full name on it. The late rapper recently passed this March due to Diabetes complications. This new sign was celebrated by his fellow bandmates Q-Tip and Jarobi White, along with his wife, mother, and other close friends. Placed on the corner of Linden Blvd/192nd St, it’s a memorable place where the band used to spend lots of memorable hours hanging out and rapping together. Desha Head Taylor, Malik’s wife, told Billboard,When we first met, we flew into JFK, and there was always a route we had to take. We had to stop by Saint Albans park, and stop by 192 and Linden. He always brought me by grandma’s house, no matter how many times we came to New York. He absolutely loved this neighborhood, and this community, and the people he met here growing up.” We send our continuous love to the ATCQ family and an R.I.P to Phife Dawg.
