It’s been a long time coming, but Chris Bridges, better known as Atlanta rapper Ludacris, has finally opened his Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport restaurant. Chicken + Beer is up and running on Concourse D.N
Atlanta rapper Ludacris, or Christopher Bridges, just opened a new (and long-awaited!) restaurant in the heart of Atlanta: Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. This Atlanta airport is known as the busiest airport in the world and of course Ludacris had to represent his hometown! This new restaurant is called Chicken + Beer and is so cleverly named after Bridges’ third studio album Chicken-n-Beer. What’s truly amazing about this entire opening is that Bridges’ had been awaiting this moment for his restaurant to open since 2012! The rapper had tweeted in January of 2012 about this project finally beginning and in the works. And on November 16, 2016, Bridge’s posted a very exciting video of him and his hyped all-black staff at the restaurant ready to open and serve to the fliers of Hartsfield-Jackson. With Southern touches and very savory flavors on the menu, we wish the beautifully black-owned restaurant the best of luck and we hope to see everyone enjoying Chicken + Beer located at Concorse D in Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport!
