Big Pooh drops ‘Word Paint Pictures”

Pooh and Apollo have created a beautiful project: Words Paint Pictures. Produced in its entirety by Apollo Brown and laced intricately with Pooh’s lyricism, the project is more than just a great listen. Influenced by the turbelence of 2014, the ryhmes create music with a message, adressing pressing subjects like (taken from the description of the project from Mello Music Group) “the complex agonies of the human condition—specifically the black experience in America over the last several centuries. These are tales of racial profiling and corrupt politicians, reality TV distractions, thieving preachers and rapacious exploitation—all offset by tremendous strength. They are uniquely American stories, chronicling both the damned and hopeful. From bleak circumstances, a profoundly durable human spirit emerges.”

There’s already an exclusive remix from from L’Orange, and the project features Eric “Blakk Soul” Keith, Jalen Santoy, Lute, Marv Won, Novej, Steve Roxx, and Ras Kass. Listen to the album below:
